  Lagos LG poll: Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, wins Kosofe Barrister Moyo Ogunlewe has been declared winner of the chairmanship election in Kosofe Local Government under All Progressives Congress (APC). This was declared by the returning officer, Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission(LASIEC), Mr Omokhudu Alufohai, on Saturday 24th July 2021 According to Omokhudu, the winner scored 9901 votes to floor the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidate who scored 1542 votes. “Having complied with the requirement of the law and scored the majority votes, Moyo Ogunlewe is hereby declared elected and returned as Chairman of Kosofe Local Government,” he announced.

The campaign train of All Progressives Congress (APC) Kosofe Local Government Chairmanship flagbearer, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, yesterday, like an Armada, stormed Ward C communities of Araromi, Gbagada and Oke-Alo in the first phase of his campaign tour of the area ahead of July 24 local government elections in Lagos State.
