MOYO OGUNLEWE CAMPAIGN TRAIN HITS WARD C COMMUNITIES AS RESIDENTS TROOP OUT TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT.
The campaign train of All Progressives Congress (APC) Kosofe Local Government Chairmanship flagbearer, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, yesterday, like an Armada, stormed Ward C communities of Araromi, Gbagada and Oke-Alo in the first phase of his campaign tour of the area ahead of July 24 local government elections in Lagos State.
The community-based campaign of the APC chairmanship candidate in the largest ward in Kosofe Local Government was carnival-like as residents and Party loyalists in large numbers, donning colourful campaign shirts and caps, slithered through the streets and communities of the ward to give their strong support to the APC Chairmanship Candidate and Councilorship Candidate.
Barrister Ogunlewe and his campaign cavalcade also visited strategic areas such as the palace of Baale of Araromi-Sawmill, Medina Estate, Millennium Estate and Atunrase Estate.
The Baale of Araromi, Chief Oriola Onalaja, prayed for the victory of Barrister Ogunlewe at the polls while the community leaders of Atunrase, Medina and Millenium Estates gave their full support to his bid to become the executive chairman of the local government.
Furthermore, Barrister Ogunlewe also used the opportunity of the proximity of millennium estate to Anthony village to visit the Baale of Anthony, Chief Ayoola Yusuf Oseni.
Chief Ayoola blessed the chairmanship quest of Barrister Ogunlewe and also prayed for his overwhelming victory at the polls on July 24.
Barrister Ogunlewe will intensify effort on his electioneering campaign in the ward and other wards in the local government in coming days before the curtain is drawn on campaign activities on Friday 23.
